Lunchies Orpington - (Near Bromley, South East)

Andrew Thain High quality North Indian food. Well prepared and very tasty. Good selection of dishes as well as the usuals. Friendly staff. Furnishings and decor are more upmarket than most local Indian restaurants. Only thing to improve would be to add table hotplates (eg the thick metal ones that almost every Indian restaurant had) to keep the food warm in the serving dishes as ours was certainly going cool as we ate the meal.

Charlie A wide ranging menu - the special breakfast was super fresh and flavoursome. I would definitely order again. Meals are customisable with a range of tasty add ons and very reasonably priced too. Coffee was excellent quality. Service was attentive, warm and welcoming. I wish Id left with the cannoli- dont miss these at the counter!

Srivathsan Discovered this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and it was totally fantastic. Amazing Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes in and around Bromley/ Orpington area. They even gave a complimentary dish for being a first time visitor to the restaurant doing a take-away. The place looks empty but the kitchen was so busy with takeaway orders in these Corona times. Great tasting food as well. Really pleased with the food and have no hesitation recommending this place.

Leo Galeone The nachos with steak were great! Not your typical nachos, really tasty, fresh and there were delicious cuts of beef on top. The chicken fajitas are also unbeatable. Kind waitress and nice atmosphere. It’s great to have multiple food options in one place!

Tina Priestman Our fabulous meal at Indian Essence in Petts Wood was made even more special with Gordons fabulous soft singing in the background. His voice created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere without ever overpowering the evening, it was the perfect accompaniment to a beautiful meal. We especially loved that he took the time to chat with us, asked about our favourite songs, and even treated us to a lovely little serenade. It felt personal and thoughtful, and really elevated the whole experience.
