4 /5 Tshepiso Mokoena: We went on a Friday evening for dinner with the family and I’m glad we booked ahead because the restaurant is small but very busy. At first I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it but the food completely surprised me, everything we ordered was authentic, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The hosts were attentive and kept checking in which made the experience even better. The only downside is that it is not really a spot for a quiet meal since it is lively and gets quite loud, but if you are looking for amazing Indian food this hidden gem is worth it.

Located in the heart of Hove, just a short hop from central Brighton, this place is a true gem if you’re craving real South Indian flavours—especially their dosas, which are absolutely spot-on and hard to find elsewhere around here. We’ve been here multiple times, and every visit has been consistently great. The menu offers a wide range of dishes—from crispy starters to comforting mains—and the food is always fresh, well-spiced, and very reasonably priced. You really do get excellent value for the quality. The restaurant does get busy on weekends, so it’s best to book ahead. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe is relaxed but authentic. If you’re after a proper taste of South India in Brighton or Hove, this is the place. Highly recommend!
