5 /5 Kai Hunter: Ali is always utterly charming and a wonderful host. Ali ably leads the front of house team. Hussain, Anika, Maisha, Malik and Ramisa are all so lovely, friendly and attentive; they all work so hard to make your experience magical and special. The food is absolutely delicious. The wine list is extensive and you can always find a bottle to complement your food choices. We thoroughly and highly recommend Malik’s. Be patient if they are just, they will attend to you and your needs. Support this amazing institution and enjoy your meal/s. Just make sure there is always a table for two available for my wife and I.

5 /5 Maria Sudhagar Joseph Kulandai Raj: One of the fine dinning restaurants and Bar in Cookham. Good quality and tasty food items. The restaurant is British style with Indian food items. The served quantity also were plenty. The ambience is very neat with round tables, enough for a family of 5 to 6 members. The service is also very polite and quick. Car parking is also available adjacent to hotel. Overall it was a nice experience of dinning.

2 /5 Daniel Toeuk: The food quality here was genuinely good. I had the Lamb Biryani, and the lamb was exceptionally tender, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning was excellent overall. The accompanying vegetarian curry was also very flavourful and satisfying. The portion size was quite large (almost too large to finish). Service itself was great, attentive, and quick. ​However, the experience was significantly marred by the price and misleading charges, which is why I cannot recommend this restaurant. ​The Issues: ​Overpriced: At £23 for a Biryani, the price is simply excessive for food that, while nice, was not groundbreaking. I regularly find meals of similar quality and portion size in London for around half that cost. ​Hidden Charges: I was immediately offered a small serving of popadoms, which the server distinctly stated were "complimentary." I was then charged £1 each for them on the final bill. I would not have accepted them had I known there was a cost. ​Charged for Tap Water: To my surprise, I was also charged for two glasses of tap water. I have never been charged for tap water at any restaurant before. ​My total bill came to £27. Its no wonder the restaurant was completely empty (all of the restaurants in the area were packed)—a red flag I should have heeded before entering. While the food was enjoyable, the combination of high prices and unexpected fees makes this place a very poor value.

5 /5 Cece Anang: Went to dinner at Malik’s and it was an incredible experience for my husband and I! The food is insanely delicious and so well seasoned. You can tell the food is extremely quality too. The presentation is absolutely amazing and the food is just really really delicious overall s On top of that, the staff are incredible. They are kind, caring and attentive. They really go out of their way to make you feel special and to cater to your needs which adds even more to the experience I would 1000% recommend Malik’s restaurant as a number one spot in Cookham to eat. My husband and I will definitely be coming again and this time we’ll bring our family too!

1 /5 SriHarsha Iyengar: We had an incredibly frustrating experience at Malik’s Cookham. After our meal where we had our client and our team with us. Post dinner, we politely requested a VAT bill, but instead of receiving a proper receipt, the owner handed us a handwritten note on a blank piece of paper. When we questioned this, his response was shocking—he became extremely rude and abusive. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, he started yelling at us and insulting us. It was not only unprofessional but completely disrespectful. It’s clear that the owner has no regard for customer service or basic decency. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.
