Mess Cafe - (Near Hackney, South East)

5 /5 Jan Hlavička: A friend recommended Mess Cafe to me, and I can say with certainty that our friendship has been elevated as a result. There is not a single aspect of this establishment I could criticise. The interior is intimate and elegantly cosy, the staff are unfailingly attentive and gracious, and the food is of such quality that it feels almost transportive. The menu is so enticing that we spent a considerable amount of time simply debating our choices, as every dish appeared worthy of selection. With only around twenty five tables in total, advance booking is highly advisable. I fully intend to return and explore more of what this exceptional kitchen has to offer.

5 /5 Kiki Lewlew: Lovely, friendly staff, I ordered a halal breakfast the turkey bacon was lovely as well as everything else. Portion size was very generous, warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Shared tables encourage people to talk to each other somewhat which I found quite nice.

5 /5 ciara s: Ive been coming to Mess Café for years and it has been consistently good quality. It gets very busy so you may be expected to share a table. The staff do their best to fit all customers in if theyre able to. There are imitations in the area but none come close to Mess Café! Food served quickly, and it was hot and delicious. Pancakes were especially tasty, I could tell they were freshly made. My husbands burger looked and smelt delicious. Perfect lunch on a chilly Autumn day!

5 /5 fletch UK: We loved Mess Cafe, just the place we were seeking for breakfast during our visit to Hackney. We all agreed that the breakfasts were delicious, generous, well cooked & presented with excellent service & fairly priced. The staff were friendly & efficient. A nice atmosphere & lovely interior, a well deserved 10/10. Well definately return. (A caveat, Mess Cafe serves Halal options & I need to make clear as a warning to others but theres plenty of options to avoid it!)

5 /5 Princess Higgwe: Great great restaurant! The food was top tier and the prices were so good for how much we had! So many options which meant we both were able to order exactly what we wanted eventhough we wanted different food options! The staff members were nice and helpful and we enjoyed our time there.
