5 /5 Jasmine Purell: So happy it’s open again! My favourite place in Southampton. Delicious food, lush coffee and great selection of fresh bakes. Love the layout, can either sit at the table for brunch or sit on the sofas for a morning coffee. Staff are really friendly with fast service too ❤️

5 /5 Lisa Jackson: Always great never fails. Food is lovely and service is quick. Just a shame the one in lyndhurst seems to have closed as all furniture has gone and main area has unwashed glasses etc. But at least this one is still going.

5 /5 Maria Romanova: Lovely atmosphere and great comfort! Beautiful, elegant atmosphere and very comfortable seating-you can truly relax and enjoy the experience. The coffee was delicious, a perfect touch to the mid day while I was working on my sketches for the tattoo.Everything felt welcoming and well thought out. Would happily come back again!

4 /5 Sarah Hewitt: Food was amazing! I had the fried chicken breakfast wrap, really different and delicious! The service is a bit odd though, counter service which means ordering and paying whenever you do, we sat around for a good hour after finishing with no plates cleared as to be honest could have had another drink each but with a dog and baby it was a bit awkward to go to the counter to order.

1 /5 Emily Robinson: Been to Mettricks a couple of times over the years. Always a long wait on food but you are never told about it. Todays visit, over 40 mins wait for food, tablets breakfast all came out at different times, poached eggs over cooked on 3 plates, asked for them to be redone another 15 minutes went by and still no eggs. Asked for a refund which they did honor as the rest of the breakfast had then been eaten so pointless to have the eggs. Pancakes stodgy and didnt appear cooked all the way through. Restaurants wasnt full so unsure why there was such a wait and no one updates you. A disappointing visit and especially as we live so close we would visit more if it wasnt the same every time we go.
