5 /5 Isra Riahi: This is honestly one of the best milk cakes I’ve ever had — and I’m a big dessert person, so I’ve tried many milk cakes. I usually find that milk cakes aren’t very sweet; for example, when I get a Lotus Biscoff one elsewhere, it tends to taste mostly milky and the Biscoff flavour is only really in the topping. But at Milk Treats, their Biscoff milk cake literally tastes like it’s been soaked in Biscoff. The flavour runs all the way through.
I’ve tried both the Biscoff and Kinder flavours. The Kinder one is tasty as well, but the Biscoff is slightly sweeter, which is why I prefer it. The portion size is great too — usually milk cakes come as quite small slices, but here you get a generous serving. The cake itself is super fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious.
My partner had the pink school cake and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it was fluffy, moist, and delicious. If you like classic cake and custard, I’d definitely recommend going for that one.
If you’re looking for a proper, well-made, sweet milk cake, I would absolutely recommend this place.
