5 /5 Derren James: Arguably the best pie & mash shop in London today! I kid you not!! Pies were to die for, the mash was full of taste and that liquor!!! Dear lord, I loved it so much I went back for more!!!! Double pie & double mash twice!!!!! Love this place. xxxxx

1 /5 Anton: Popped in as i wanted some jellied eels. Whilst there i decided to try Pie and Mash, which was a first for me. The mash was exceptional - very smooth. Like wise the pie pastry was perfectly cooked. The liquor was very bland, and mince in the pie, was a hard lump in the middle - giving the impression that it was pre-cooked before putting it in the pastry. Im no expert, but as many people say its the best pie and mash, all I can say, is it isnt for me. As for the Jellied eels. The pot is relatively large, so you think youve got a reasonable portion. On opening it it is about 80% "Jelly" - I say jelly because it was more like clear rubber / silicone. There were only 7 pieces of eel approx 1cm thick, 2 of them thin tail pieces.Whilst the eel meat was very nice, the jelly was inedible and very tough. All this for just over £5, and the use by date was 2 days away, making me suspect that this wasnt too fresh. I tried contacting Manzies Management, before posting this, and was promised a call back, and nothing was received.

5 /5 SW Cool: Very traditional‑looking restaurant on the high street. I tried stewed eels for the first time and really enjoyed them — soft, flavourful, and much nicer than I expected. The mash was beautifully buttery, just how I like it. I’d definitely come back to try the jellied eels next time.

4 /5 Parul Shah: Had a vegetarian pie mash and liquor with big splash of chilli vinegar. I think my pie was defrosted and warmed in microwave as the pastry was a little tough. I would suggest company invests in an air fryer
