4 /5 Mirza: I went in with low expectations after seeing their social media campaign. They were offering 50% off the entire menu, and like us, many people had come to take advantage of the offer. When we entered, the scene was quite chaotic, with people queuing everywhere. After a short wait, we managed to get a table and place our order. The decor was decent however, I’ve never understood why so many Pakistani restaurants opt for six seater tables instead of smaller ones. Many large tables that could seat six were occupied by just two people. The food itself was good. The karahi was delicious, and the Shinwari pulao was also very enjoyable. The chappli kebabs had the right texture but were lacking a bit of flavour. Overall, it was a good experience. We paid £55 for a party of three, which was very reasonable. That said, in places like Birmingham you can pay a similar amount without needing a 50% discount. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t return if the discount was removed.

4 /5 Farhan Riaz: We ordered and enjoyed the Tawa Platter. Platter had lamb chops, chicken wings, seekh kebab, chicken boneless boti, chicken and lamb Karahi with 2 naans and rice. Karahi portions had a nice taste with reasonable spice, however the grilled items were on the dry side albeit tasted ok. The platter is good for 3-4 people and is good value at £35 until end of November. Mr Sami provided amazing service, very warm and friendly. The seating area and decor requires update to attract wider set of customers, currently it will be suited for a very casual dine out.

4 /5 H. Raja: Nice place for family dinner. Thier half price platter 4-5 person for £35 is delicious. You get lots of food. Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Light music can be added to make it sound nicer too. Overall good place to have food. 1 /5 Safiyyah xxx: I wouldn’t even rate this place 1 star. Don’t believe everything you see on TikTok. I visited this restaurant today with my family and was honestly so disappointed. We queued for around 30 minutes, which is normal for a Friday night, so that wasn’t an issue. But once we were seated, the table we were given was horrible. There were five of us, yet they seated us at a table made for four. They clearly prioritise bigger families for the better tables. I politely asked if they could add a single table for us, but they refused. From that moment, the waiters gave off such bad vibes and they were rude! When nearby tables eventually cleared, we asked again if we could move, and they basically ignored us and said we’d have to wait even longer. At that point I wasn’t letting the disrespect get to me, so I stood up and pulled an empty single table over myself!!! It wasn’t being used by anyone and there was no way I was letting a MAN ruin my day! We ordered the tava grill, and even though it was on offer, it was absolutely disgusting. I’d honestly advise you to go to Taj Grill instead. The lamb chops were raw, off, and smelled horrible, completely inedible. They just threw spices on top to make it look good. The whole thing was a catfish. The rice, wings, and kebabs were all bad. The only good item was the chicken salan. There was no salad, no sauces, no tap water or cups, and not even basic cutlery. They only gave spoons and forks!! - no knives at all. I’m sorry, but if you can’t provide basic cutlery for your customers, why even open a food business? There was also no salt or pepper for the chips, which were dry and tasteless. Yes, the place looks aesthetically pleasing, but food and service matter the most and this restaurant failed at both. Don’t waste your time or money. This tava grill shouldn’t even be £35 on sale; it’s barely worth £10!

5 /5 Shake Islam: We had one of the popular platters and omg, it was tasty and generous portions! Tasty and was stuffed! Zakaria was our server and he was super friendly and just the best! Service with smile and he was doing everything, from serving, welcoming, cleaning, seating people, etc! Would definitely recommend to everyone and would come again! Thank you again!
