5 /5 Holly Austin-Davies: Oh my goodness. Genuinely the biggest, most delicious buns I have ever eaten. For someone who loves food, a visit here is like stepping into Wonkas chocolate factory - even at 8am on a rainy Saturday morning, the place was a hive of activity, there were already mounds of baked goods stacked on the counter, and clearly more being made at the back of the cafe. Despite barging in the moment they opened, they couldnt have been more friendly and welcoming, and I left with buns smothered in cream cheese frosting and pecans and the biggest smile on my face. An absolute must-visit, you wont be disappointed.

4 /5 Saranki Ariyalingam: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I stopped by Mrs Sourdough Bakery and was genuinely impressed! I had a delicious cinnamon roll and a chocolate-filled brioche — both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. But what truly surprised me was finding real matcha on the menu! I’ve been coming to Chatham many times and have never found a place that offers proper matcha (sorry, bubble tea matcha just doesn’t count). I’m honestly so happy — I won’t have to travel all the way to London anymore just to get a good cup. The only downside was the price: I paid €6.50 for the matcha, which is quite a bit more than what I usually pay in London for large cup (€4–5). Still, it’s a small price to pay for quality, and I’m thrilled to have found this little gem in Chatham!

5 /5 Zuzana Ba: Lovely little bakery. I always get something from there when I’m around. Pecan buns and poppy buns are my favourites, and we love their seeded bread too! Definitely recommend

5 /5 Elina Ozola: One of the best coffee and pastries place in the town. My go-to is always the spinach /ricotta pastry, its simply delicious. I love the fact that during some hours you can see the bakers working making bread, its interesting to watch - all handmade. They also do a delicious decaf coffee. Win win for me.
