5 /5 Bas Stellink: Myrtos by Asimakis is an amazing restaurant offering high quality food at a very reasonable price, supported by excellent service. On top they’re offering new dishes on a regular basis, have an excellent wine list and have recently started to do roasts on Sundays. We went for the roast to share for 2 this weekend as it’s the first time they offered roasts. It was excellent in terms of quality and brings together a British classic with a Greek touch. Asimakis is spot on with this one, where the crispy pork belly, chicken and lamb offer a plethora of flavors together with roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage and a Yorkshire pudding of course. The amount of food for 50£ was very generous on top of the quality offered. We finished off with the basque cheesecake made with feta and sour cherries, what a treat! We’ll be back for sure as we love the place, menu and the people. Go pay them a visit, you won’t regret it!

5 /5 Dr Afshin: This restaurant is a real gem. The Greek-style dishes were absolutely delicious the cheese was rich and authentic, the lobster beautifully fresh, and the fish cooked to perfection. Even the clams were excellent, especially paired with one of the best Greek salads I’ve ever had. Everything we tried was fresh, tasty, and perfectly prepared. The service was spot on quick, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customers. I’ll definitely be coming back.

5 /5 Ishan Issadeen: I visited for dinner on a Saturday. The venue had striking decor, giving off upmarket Mediterranean vibes. Very nice. Tables were well spaced out as well. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and between us ordered the bread basket, hummus, spicy feta, bluefin tuna, Greek salad, lamb moussaka, lamb belly skewer and lobster giouvetsi (orzo). For dessert we tried the donuts, orange cake and the semolina custard with strawberries. The food was generally quite enjoyable. Favourites included the spicy feta, lamb belly and the lobster orzo. Their version of a Greek salad was the only item which I wasn’t too sure about. Portion sizes were larger than implied by our server so it did end up being a bit too much food. Service was very friendly and initially very speedy, but it did get a bit harder to get attention towards the end of the meal when the place was busier. Still not too bad though and I did like the fact that many of the servers were of Greek origin. The bill for our meal came to £343 of which £86 was spent on drinks. Definitely pricey but not out of kilt for a plush new venue in this part of town. This visit rounded up an unintended triple header of Greek meals, after visiting Pyro and Lagana in the days prior, and all 3 places are great in their own way but Myrtos did feel like the most authentic of the lot (albeit also the most upmarket) - I would happily return in future.
