Namak Mandi - (Near , South East)

4 /5 zuhair saeed: Last evening, my family and the families of my two friends had dinner at Namak Mandi, Tooting. We had booked a table for 8 people almost a week in advance and arrived on time. However, we had to wait around 30 minutes for a table to be available. After we were seated, a staff member came to take our order and we asked for a few minutes to decide. Unfortunately, even after waiting another 20 minutes, no one came back to take our order, so I went to the counter myself to place it. We ordered lamb chops, lamb tikka, chicken malai boti, Namak Mandi lamb karahi, Charsi chicken karahi, chapli kebab, Kabuli pulao, and drinks. Honestly, the food was amazing. Everything we tried was full of flavour and tasted very authentic. We all really enjoyed the meal. I would definitely recommend this place to meat lovers, as the food quality and taste are excellent. A small improvement in service would make the overall experience even better, but overall we had a great time and truly enjoyed the food.

5 /5 zia syed: Nice ambience, excellent food and good friendly team. We ordered their especialties, which are Chapli kebabs, Charsi karhai (chicken) and Kublai Pullaoo. All are really authentic taste. The Manger at the end asked us if we wanted to have green tea on the house and then brought it along with Kheer (desert). A little more care required of toilets space. The only slight issue is the parking, which is bit difficult to find after 8pm. Highly recommend for amazing authentic food.

I visited Namak Mandi in Upper Tooting over the weekend, which is usually a very busy time, but the restaurant still exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely outstanding and full of flavour—truly delicious from start to finish. What impressed me just as much was the staff: extremely polite, attentive, and welcoming despite how busy it was. The service never felt rushed, and the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be visiting again!

Today was my first time visiting the new side, and mā shā’ Allāh, it was packed. We were fortunate to reserve a table through Mr Khan over the phone. 5 /5 Bisma T: The food here is incredible and keeps my family coming back time and time again. The naan, chapli kebab and chicken karahi are a must. The service is always great and this visit we enjoyed complimentary kheer for dessert.
