Rob Photo-Video First time having a toastie here at this mainstay of Newington Green. Delicious, dense homemade bread toasted for ages so the cheese forms a beautiful crust where it spills out. Very very nice. Loyalty card is a good idea. And they sell lots of cheese and loaves. I was served by Olivier, who is very helpful, charming and dedicated to the place where he works!

M An unforgettable dining experience. I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at this restaurant last night, and the evening exceeded all expectations. Despite the lively atmosphere and a full dining room, the service was seamless, attentive yet discreet, striking the perfect balance. Each dish was both visually captivating and exquisitely prepared, showcasing a clear mastery in the kitchen. The flavors were so enticing that we found ourselves ordering more than anticipated, no doubt to the quiet amusement of the brigade. This was not merely a meal, but a genuinely memorable occasion. Ndidiamaka Idimogu This is the worst ogbono soup and semovita I have ever eaten in my life. The soup came in tasteless, inhomogeneous lumps with no consistency whatsoever, poorly cooked and completely inedible. I have never encountered food this badly prepared. I would genuinely rather go hungry than eat this again. The semovita was even worse: dry, chaff-like, and incapable of holding together to form a single ball of swallow. It kept breaking apart in bristles, making eating practically impossible. The fish was barely acceptable, but too fishy and certainly not worth the price. After struggling through this so-called meal, I had to order a pizza. Calling this food is being generous. It shouldnt even get a one star rating.

Kishor Kumar Excellent food . I have ordered variety of foods many times from this shop, including for a big gathering. Small shop but have several tables to accommodate small groups people. They also have traditional Srilankan sweets on counter. My favorite is sweet laddu. Best chaya for reasonable prize. I would highly recommend this shop for food lovers.
