3 /5 Romuz Uddin: I’ve been a regular customer at PFC Espresso and have enjoyed their food in the past. This time, I ordered the Doner Kebab meal along with three portions of chicken and hot wings with chips.
The Doner Kebab was quite tasty with a nice level of spice. However, I think it would have tasted even better without the ketchup that was added during preparation it overpowered the other flavours. That said, the portion size was very reasonable.
Unfortunately, the chips were a letdown. They seemed to have been refried and tasted stale. The hot wings, which are usually one of the highlights here, were too dry this time and had a rubbery texture. I’m not sure what happened, as they usually get the wings just right. The chicken was okay, but I did find some visible hairs, which was off-putting it definitely needs better cleaning.
On a positive note, the staff are always very friendly and offer great customer service. The location is also very convenient, though parking can be quite difficult in the area.
As a loyal customer, I was a bit disappointed with the quality this time, but I believe this was just a one-off. I’m hopeful that on my next visit, the food will return to the usual high standard I’ve come to expect from PFC Espresso.
