Piccolino Tower Bridge - (Near Southwark, South East)

4 /5 Hannah Riaz: We celebrated our wedding anniversary by having lunch at Piccolino. The customer service was excellent. We were served by Adrian who was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive at the right times. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Calm, cozy, minimal and botanical. The choices on the menu were great. We loved the surprise dessert, which was a tiramisu without alcohol...just what we wanted but thought we couldnt order. Unfortunately, we were really long forward to the penne arabbiata as my husband and I love that dish but at this restaurant it tasted sweet liked baked beans and wasnt great. Had it been delicious, we wouldve given this restaurant 5 stars.

3 /5 Lang: If you really have to go, prep yourself to salt and pepper your main entree heavily. However, I enjoyed their drinks and starters. The caprese salad was absolutely refreshing and bright. Would order 5 if I could. Main course we had the lasagna, carbonara, and penne. Carbonara and penne was lacking flavor and not al dente. Service was lacking. No water refill for our table of 30. And god forbid you share starters before your own arrive. The waiters will think you didn’t order and will give your own starter away…

5 /5 David Clark: We came across this place after a visit to Wembley. The reception was very pleasant and courteous. The service I cannot fault. We had the focaccia for starter and this was truly great. The pizza was good, though it was a little oily on the top, had this been a little less oily then it would have been a lot better. I had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection. The chips with truffle were really nice. The wine, which in most places these days which is truly lacking, was excellent here. Overall we will be back, thank you.

Wow. This is what true hospitality looks like. The venue was sublime, the food and drinks were exceptional, and the team was nothing short of incredible. Nothing was ever too much. This level of hospitality is rare, and we’re so grateful for the experience you created for us. Thank you for making our night unforgettable.

3 /5 Chris Cookson: As much as it pains me to do so, I can only give my experience at this establishment 3 (or 3.5) stars. As other reviewers have stated, the atmosphere is indeed very pleasant and the quality and presentation of the food is fairly good. The price–performance ratio, however, is quite high: I spent £150 (not including the tip) between the two of us on one main, one side, one glass of wine, and one hot drink per person. In my view, the quality of the food did not justify this price - for instance, I found my chicken (pictured) to be quite fatty and taste quite plain. My main qualm is the service. I have deducted a whole star on the grounds that I specified in the original booking AND over the phone that it was a special occasion - both a date night and a birthday - and I was assured something thoughtful would be arranged, such as a slice of cake and a candle, but this never happened. In addition, we were asked once every 10 minutes or so by a waiter whether "everything was alright" - easily half a dozen times during our meal. While doing so once or twice is certainly appreciated, asking so frequently felt like an interruption. I also noticed the waiter would sometimes serve me first before my female date, which is a rookie move. While it was a pleasant experience overall, I left feeling somewhat disppointed and frustrated. You can do better, Piccolino.
