Popeyes Fish and Kebab - (Near Barking and Dagenham, South East)

3 /5 Saddiq Rahman: Placed a large order online consisting of lamb donners with naan, chips and chicken donners. All the donner came on a bed of rice (no mention of rice on the website?). The portions of rice were larger than the donner meat and chicken itself. Taste was plain.

1 /5 Dee Dee: I’m sad to say that the food I received today was not good at all! I have been going to this fish & chip shop for many years, & used to have a lovely relationship with the previous owners & I happen to like the people who are in there now. My issue is that when you order food for delivery, you are treated differently. They give you whatever they want. Food that is dried up from sitting under the heater thing for hours. Substandard portion sizes. I paid for 2 large cod’s today (£20) & the size of them had shrunk considerably. The one I had had a large middle section of batter & no fish. The fish was lukewarm & had clearly been cooked a long time before & was very dry. The second portion was fresher & hotter but again the size was considerably smaller. A large cod is no longer large. The only thing that is large is the price! I would love to say ‘I’m not going to buy food from here again’ but I probably will. I will NEVER order food for delivery again from here. It’s up to you if you will! IF ANYONE CAN RECOMMEND A GOOD FISH & CHIP SHOP IN THE AREA, THIS PLACE WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN

1 /5 ana diz: This place always takes the piss with the amount of burger sauce added on chips rarely puts any and puts less chips for small chips i would finish it in 5 minutes whereas in royal fishbar it would be very generous with sauce and chips do better honestly.

1 /5 Ashley London: EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE!!! I ordered a large meat & chips for delivery but what I received shocked me! I only got 13 chips, it was so small I could literally count it. I then called them up to complain and the lady said I can come to the shop to pick up a portion of chips. I then went to the shop and she proceeds to ask me “cash or card”. I was confused because I should be getting it for free. Her colleague then got involved and was extremely rude and told me to leave the shop. NEVER AGAIN!!

5 /5 L: First time trying this place and i have no complaints. The kebab was on point and chips were good. I’d probably request for salt and vinegar on the chips next time but other than that i thought it hit the standards of what I would say is good kebab and chips! You get decent amount and get salad and bread which is a lot more than other places. Plus it was reasonably priced. The lamb and chicken doner is tasty! The wings I’d say are pretty standard but nothing wrong with them! I’d definitely come back and recommend!
