We ordered off the main menu and had the short Rib and scallops to start which were delicious, I had the ribeye and my wife had the fillet mains were great but mine was a little over seasoned so I could not taste the meat but nice all same

5 /5 Mark Hair: We had an absolutely phenomenal meal. The Porters Experience was a selection of different cuts of meat and cooked to perfection by the resident chef Oscar. Quite honestly some of the best food Ive ever eaten. The totally relaxed and welcoming approach from Tony and his staff made for a great evening.

Good pairing of wine for each course too. If you’re looking for the very best steak experience, this is it!

The service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere instantly set the tone for a truly special meal. We even had a view of the dry-aged beef, which added to the excitement. Tony kindly talked us through the menu and introduced us to the Porter’s Experience, which sounded absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, we were completely starstruck by the food — the quality, the precision of the cooking, and the incredible attention to detail. You can immediately tell this is a one-of-a-kind steakhouse. From the bread and butter to the dessert, every single bite felt divine. We were so impressed that we felt compelled to thank the chefs in person — we had genuinely never experienced food of this calibre before. If you’re visiting Southampton, this restaurant absolutely deserves a top spot on your to-do list.
