5 /5 Tony H: Really enjoyed Saigon City. The floral décor is lovely and the food was great. The salt and pepper squid was crispy and not too salty, and the pork ribs were meaty and crunchy. The Bun Bo Hue tasted authentic, and all the noodle soups were reasonably priced. Would happily come back!

4 /5 Hojae Lee: the Best Viet kitchen in town!!!!!! savoury and not salty phos unlike any other viet restaurants. the pho had enough meat - worth the money. lovely and friendly staff (although i wish she washed her hands before serving the food as she was mopping the floor).

5 /5 Lorina A: After reading the many positive reviews, accompanied by the enticing images, we had to try Saigon City for ourselves. It did not disappoint! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were met by a warm and welcoming member of staff. He was friendly, attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. The restaurant had a great vibe and cool decor. We ordered salt and pepper chicken wings for the starter and prawn pho and chicken curry for mains. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. The food blew my socks off. We will definitely be coming back!

5 /5 thomas egan: Popped into Saigon City today and had the rare beef pho, which was unreal. The broth was honestly so good I could’ve just drunk that on its own all day. Maybe could’ve done with a touch more beef, but the flavour made up for it completely. They also do their own signature cocktails, which were lovely – and even better, they were two for one, which I think they do most days up to a certain time. Couldn’t say no to that! For dessert, I tried the Che Ba Mau, which the waiter told me was an acquired taste – and he was right, but I actually really liked it. Sweet, different, and I’m glad I gave it a go. The staff were genuinely friendly, the guy serving me was spot on, and even though I went in early and it was pretty quiet, it had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Saigon City if you’re after a proper Vietnamese meal and some great cocktails. I’ll 100% be going back!

4 /5 m sho: This was my first visit and the wings were delicious, and the rice was very fresh what could’ve done with a little more seasoning. However, shortly after our arrival, a party of approximately 20 individuals entered the establishment, creating an overwhelming level of noise. It was evident that the party had been pre-booked, and it would have been great to have been given a heads up before we were seated in the restaurant - the restaurant is pretty small as well. After the guests had arrived, the staff had forgotten we were there, we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get a takeaway bag or settle the bill. Of course we couldn’t sit there while a party was going on, it was very awkward.
