5 /5 rabson mwale: We had a really great experience, the food was hot fresh and arrived quite quickly. The staff were nice, very focused and friendly enough. The overall experience for the cost of our meal was very worth it. The restaurant was very busy but the team were very professional and productive in keeping things moving. If you like dim sum, and are in the area, definitely worth visiting.

4 /5 Olu O: The food is delicious. I really enjoyed the beef fried rice. Probably one of the best i have eaten in the UK. The proce point is high though when compared to others.

5 /5 Rory Lam: Excellent food and brilliant service, we had one issue which was resolved quickly and the server went beyond what we expected. We dined at 5pm, a little early for dinner service, there were only two other tables occupied so everything came out quickly and was delicious! The pei pa duck was freshly roasted with perfectly crispy skin, the aubergine and pork hot pot with salted fish had a deeper umami than any other local Chinese restaurants, the gai lan vegetables were crisp and flavourful, the pork chops with honey sauce had a great sweet and sour flavour, and the star was the three stuffed treasures (釀三寶) - succulent prawn filling with chunky and deep flavoured tofu, the aubergine and peppers were cooked well too. To be honest we used to be regulars here but changed to a different one about a decade ago. We think this meal has changed our minds and we will definitely be returning again soon!

4 /5 K W (KW): We waited 30 mins for a table on a Bank Holiday Monday. We had to share a big table with another couple but that seemed to be a mistake as when they brought the food over, they just put the food down anywhere on the table so we got confused between the two parties. I wouldnt recommend sharing a table with another party. The food was delicious. The waiters did their best. The car park was £10 for 2 hours. Rip off.

1 /5 Thomas Siu: I used to come to Saikee for dim sum all the time, but after seeing their service attitude today, I honestly don’t think I’ll go back again. When my wife and I walked in, we greeted the boss, but he didn’t respond. Since it wasn’t busy, we just stepped inside and stood there for a moment, trying to make eye contact with the staff. Two staff members walked past us without even looking at us. Then we saw the manager and said hello. He told us to sit down, so we did. He clearly knew there were two people already waiting, and apart from them, it was just the two of us. Suddenly more people came in. Then we heard the manager calling out numbers — that’s when we realised you needed to take a number. At first we thought since it wasn’t crowded, you could just wait for a table, so we didn’t take a number. The boss didn’t tell us to take one either. When they called a number, the person asked the manager — who clearly recognised that we were there earlier — what our number was. I said the boss hadn’t given us one. Then they told us, “Then go and get one quickly.” Honestly, after this experience, I won’t be going back again — even though it’s close to my home. Their service attitude really needs improvement. It wasn’t like this before.
