5 /5 Simon Rolph: Went on a Saturday early evening and it was very busy and there wasn’t many if any free tables available but we soon managed to find somewhere to sit. Used the table service which worked really well. Staff were really helpful and were quickly clearing and cleaning tables as they became free. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Really tasty and between three of us we had a feast. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t had a slim chickens before. Word of warning that slim reaper sauce is dynamite hot and I’m good with spice but that sauce is on another level.

4 /5 Greg Rowe: The Slim Chickens location in Milton Keynes is conveniently situated just outside the main building of Xscape and is very easy to access, with nearby parking making it a easy to pop in for a quick lunch (although you have to pay for parking which is slightly annoying). I’ve visited several Slim Chickens restaurants across the East Midlands, and while the food here was good for the most part, this was probably one of my least favourite locations overall. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and quite spacious, with plenty of seating available. Service was quite fast and is easily the quickest I’ve experienced at Slim Chickens. I ordered the five chicken tender meal with a side of coleslaw. The tenders were very nice, hot, juicy, and well seasoned. I tried three of the dips including honey mustard, Slim’s sauce, gravy mayonnaise, all of which I would highly recommend, the gravy mayonnaise is actually a highlight for me. Unfortunately, the main downside of this visit was the fries. They were undercooked and didn’t match the standard I’ve had at other Slim Chickens locations, which was disappointing. Another minor frustration was the restroom access system. The toilets require a code, but when ordering via the self service screens you don’t receive a receipt with the code, meaning you have to ask a member of staff, which feels unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, a decent visit, but not the strongest Slim Chickens experience I’ve had.

5 /5 Samuel Ward-Butler: What I ordered: - The Big Sleigh Sandwich - Large Fries - Soft Drink - Side of Gravy Total - £17.25 Slim Chickens food is really tasty. I have been here before but this review is based upon my visit on the evening of the 2nd December, 2025. I had the burger on this occasion. I’ll be honest, i wasn’t too keen on the burger. But the chicken here is beautiful and really worth visiting for! The Texas Toast is delicious too.

5 /5 Aijia Zhu: Slim Chickens are soooo good! Love the atmosphere, the fried chicken, especially the hot wings! Amazingly tasty. More importantly, the service here is excellent. Huge thank you to Maria, who’s being very welcoming and helpful as we were taking our little girl with us
