5 /5 Francesca Barone: Another fabulous lunch at this great restaurant with expansive sea views at Ventnor. We had the off season three course menu which represents such great value. The only reason for the lower atmosphere rating is due to restaurant being very quiet customer wise.

5 /5 Neethu Sathyan: Fantastic restaurant! I chose this spot for my husband’s birthday after reading the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me keep the celebration a surprise. The sea view from the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Will & Anaïs: Every course was mind-blowing- blue corn tuna tacos and miso butter milk bread were a particular highlight and I had gilded sea bream as catch of the day and it was all phenomenal. Very fast and friendly service and nice setting. Clvery cool place.

5 /5 Catherine Yang: We booked this restaurant for wedding anniversary celebration. We love seafood and interested by fusion food idea. The restaurant is packed and we couldn’t find a reservation on weekend so had to book Tuesday. It was okay as we had the time. But I’d highly recommend booking in advance. Even on a Tuesday, the restaurant was so busy! The seafood platter was very very fulfilling and it was a good mixture of all kinds of seafood for 2 people’s portion. We ordered kids meal on the side for 3Yo. They also have omakase but they wouldn’t be able to offer omakase with additional food from the menu which makes it very limited. Because we are 3 people, 1 being a toddler, ordering 3 omakase would be too much and 2 would be too little according to the restaurant. But overall it was great experience! The restaurant is by the sea, on good days, the view can be great.

The Smoking Lobster in Ventnor delivers an amazing food journey. Pan-Asian, seafood-focused cuisine as both "exquisite and super tasty," which highlights the quality expected from their two AA Rosettes. ​The experience is greatly enhanced by the welcoming staff, who skilfully "explain and talk you through the menu." Even the unique selection of drinks was celebrated as "so tempting and tasty, and also a journey" in itself. ​With a perfect location right by the beach providing stunning sea views, the atmosphere is unbeatable. This restaurant is highly recommended as a place "worth treating yourself and enjoying fine food"—its a top-tier culinary escape with wonderful service and a fantastic setting.
