Sotto Lounge - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 Karen Paine: Visited last Saturday. We hadnt booked a table, however staff were so helpful in finding one for us. The food was great and service exceptional. Didnt realise they also allow dogs, so next time we go for a walk with our dog round St Marys Island, we can visit Sotto Lounge for a drink and something to eat.

5 /5 Niki Smith: The place was buzzing! Great atmosphere even on a Friday lunchtime. Service was excellent. Water on tap at the bar. Good menu with something for everyone’s taste. Good prices. Portions just the right size and very tasty, so you don’t go leaving any food on your plate. There’s a corner where younger kids can find toys to play with, a book swap area, lots of pictures on the walls to look at, and the toilets were clean with products for women in the ladies including deodorant! Can’t wait to go back.

5 /5 Burt Aitken: A really well decorated place. The staff are fantastic. They didnt hurry us despite the place being very busy. A lovely cup of coffee, and the food was outstanding! I had 2 poached eggs on muffins with mushrooms and spinach. The eggs were done to perfection, a very rare thing these days! At £9.50 they are fantastic value. Recommend 100%

5 /5 David Self: This was my first visit with three other people. I had no wait for a table although as it got busier they were asking people to wait to be seated. I arrived at around 12:45 and the place was moderately busy but tables easy to come by. You can order via a QR code or by going up to the bar and ordering there, I chose the QR code option. No problems scanning and using the website it takes you to. The drinks came quick as did the food. I had an Americano with a syrup (syrups come in sugar free options also) and was a good coffee. I also ordered the Lamb kofte tapas with onion rings ( the onion rings were to mop the access sauce). The lamb was so well cooked it fell apart and the sauce was zingy enough to make it interesting without needing extra fluids to calm the mouth afterwards. The onion rings were well cooked and tasty and didnt feel like the cheap & nasty frozen variety you get elsewhere. The staff were attentive but no overly so so no complaints and the layout of the room meant no problems for access to bar or toilets, even when very busy. A good afternoon spent with friends with good food and drinks.
