Ivan De Mello Revamped under new ownership, lacks the variey of real ales on draught but vast improvement in food. The chicken wings are amazing! Great selection of music on the jukebox as well. Most recently, I had the chicken pizza, which tasted like home cooking at its best.

Petrina Evadney We visited today for a Birthday meal, as recommended by a relative who heard good reviews. The staff members were very welcoming, warm, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We were served by two lovely ladies, one of whom was their first day, but you never would have known. The interior was warm and inviting, the lighting was just right and the music added to the wonderful ambience. The food was fresh, tasty, well seasoned and the portions were great. Food presentation was exquisite. I loved that after each served dish, the tables were cleaned and reset for the next dish. Big thumbs up. We ate both meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The timing of dishes being prepared and being served was also good. We didnt wait long at all. They have a good selection of juices, mocktails, cocktails and Teas. We will definitely be back.

The food was genuinely delicious and well prepared, but what really stood out was the service Jamshid was amazing, attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome without being overbearing. The atmosphere is lovely, and the interior is especially beautiful, with a warm, stylish design that makes the place feel inviting and relaxed. Definitely an amazing spot I’d be glad to return to. Paul Beaman Bit like a school canteen. Fine for breakfast but lacks atmosphere as a restaurant. Understaffed meaning the only person serving was doing everything. Had the offer 2 steaks and a bottle of wine but they did not have any house red. Disappointing.

will knock We were seated straight away and I explained that we only had an hour and a quarter for dinner, we were ensured that wasnt an issue and she would make sure things came out promptly. The menu isnt huge, which usually means the restaurant has taken care to do a few things very well, but the food was amazing. The steak tartare and salmon tartare were delicious, and we both had a fish dish for mains which were equally as tasty, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding and trifle for dessert didnt disappoint. Excellent service, very reasonable prices, and we were out on time without anything feeling rushed. We would have gone back for breakfast the next day had we not already booked somewhere else, but we will be back!
