5 /5 Phoebe Bedford: Love love love this place ! Food was delicious, good vegan and vegetarian option and staff were helpful when it came to allergies / dietary restrictions. The portions were generous and it wasn’t super expensive. Had a nice cosy vibe. The chickpea and spinach curry and the chai tea were my favourites. Thanks for a lovely meal !
5 /5 Rachel Ash: I was so excited to visit Taste Tibet for the first time today with my family after hearing so much about it. The food and service were excellent and the restaurant has a lovely friendly atmosphere, you can really feel that it is part of the local community. Well done to Yeshi, Julie and the rest of the team, you should be proud of what youve achieved!
5 /5 Zak: Wow, a little gem and so pleased to have discovered it today.
The food was epic, delicious, clean and full of flavour. Hard to pick favourites but the Biryani, Beef, Dumplings, Dhall, and the Tibetan Chai were kept highlights, but tbh, everything was great.
The staff are so lovely and helpful, overall, could not rate this little piece of Tibet enough.
Please make the effort to head over and try, I doubt you will be disappointed.
5 /5 Fery Kaszoni: What an amazing experience, and great food served in 10 minutes. You can tell the owner is in the kitchen and present at the restaurant, and you can tell the food is freshly cooked and not made of pre made sauces like in most other Asian restaurants. Wow. Will come back here many times, we have a date night every Saturday with my wife, and I am sure we’ll visit this place every month. Staff were friendly and we felt like we entered someone’s house and were welcomed with smile and empathy. Definitely five stars.
5 /5 Adrian Krajewski: If you are tired of "concept" dining and stuffy service, this is the antidote. Taste of Tibet focuses entirely on what matters: simple, nutritious, incredible food served with genuine warmth.
There is zero pretension here—just good energy and even better cooking. The menu caters brilliantly for vegans and vegetarians (the plant-based momos are essential ordering), and everything feels restorative and authentic rather than over-engineered. The staff are lovely and make you feel immediately at home.
A perfect spot for a low-key, high-quality meal. Highly recommended.
Jamie Today we went to M&S for a few supplies before christmas. We were astounded by the overwhelming customer support by staff member Pete, who after seeing we were looking for a trifle with a longer used by date, went out of his way and came across moments later to find us after we had left the aisle with the trifles in. He greeted us with a lovely new trifle with a longer used by date which he had just unveiled from its sparky new packaging. Pete really went above and beyond and we will be frequenting M&S again soon and cant wait!
Huiling Zhang This is a great place to catch up with a friend, or just to enjoy some food and company.
Excellent food. Will definitely try again! We ordered the signature pork shank and the confit Guinea fowl; both were very satisfying. Not too oily; not too salty; everything was just right. The sweet cabbage was also cooked expertly.
For dessert we tried the hot dumpling, which is basically a warm bun with sweet jam fillings. Needless to say this idea of dumpling is quite novel to me as a Chinese, but it tastes good. I cannot wait to come back and try more items on the menu!
Service: nice but chill. Perhaps because we are close to Christmas there weren’t too many customers around. Many chose to stay and chat for a while after the meal. We did so and was not pushed out (never!) and instead received very nice hospitality.
Montanut MONA Hussarungsee Turnbull Clean, cozy friendly atmosphere. Owner are welcoming and recommended their popular dishes. We stared off with assorted fillings of Pierogi. They are fresh delicious and homemade. For the mains,We ordered schnitzel and goulash. Both came with homemade cabbage salad and are delicious. Goulash can with delicious crisp on the outside gooey on the inside potato pancake. The pork is tender and has a blend of spice with a kick to it. My schnitzel is standard nothing to complain. I would have love it to be a little crispier though.
Portion size are large! Enjoy.
Thank you
Emanuela Bozhinova We love Italian food, so when we saw the reviews for this place we decided to give a chance. From start to end it was a really nice experience. The staff were really kind and helpful. The food was delicious. I had pizza and it was okay, not the best. However the appetiser, pasta and desert were really nice. We had booking for inside but the staff recommended to us to sit outside as it was warm evening. Overall it was good experience and we would come back again.
Mahliqa After a long day moving house in the heat, we were hoping for a hearty meal. We ordered jollof rice, egusi with fufu, and pepper soup. The jollof? Meh - bland and stingy on the portion. The egusi? V.oily but full of flavour - honestly the star of the show.
But then came the meat situation. Each dish had one real piece of meat. The rest? .. Unchewable slabs of skin and fat masquerading as food (pictured) - the disrespect. I get that cow skin is a thing but this one clearly missed its softening appointment.
Atmosphere-wise, the music was club-level loud. We couldnt hear the staff, and they couldn’t hear us. Cleanliness was questionable (sticky tables), and the vibe among staff was more house party than hospitality.
I won’t be back, but shoutout to the egusi for carrying the whole night. 2/5 for that alone.
