2 /5 Glenn Everett: 2 visits for takeaway, neither on busy weekend nights. 1st time was handed the wrong takeaway completely, which I only realised when I got home. No answer in the phone so ended waiting for new one. 2 hours total for one meal. Ok, occasionally mistakes are made, and the food was pretty good when we got it. 2nd time, my wife was making the order, shes gluten allergic, needs gluten free. Was told on the phone theyd make something special for her. Got it home, labeled gluten free and chock full of ... egg noodles. Which are made with gluten. Phoned to query and was told the chef didnt know whether they were gluten free or not. Well dont use them then, especially when you could make someone quite seriously unwell. Fortunately my wife was on the ball otherwise we would have had a problem. Then took four separate phone calls just to get a refund issued. Wont be going back.

5 /5 Nazia Begum: We had an amazing experience at Thai Basil in Ashford! The food was top-notch—flavorful and authentic. We tried the Goong yai chu chi and Thai Green Curry, and both were delicious, with just the right balance of spices. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The portions are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving great Thai food. We’ll be back soon!

5 /5 Thamy Junis: If youre looking for traditional Thai food, look no further than Thai Basil. Hubby and I went out for date night and we sure glad we did. We were greeted at the door and taken to our seats. We ordered a few starters and mains. The massaman curry lamb was divine. The meat was tender and the potatoes brought a beautiful touch and jt was paired well with the coconut curry sauce. My husband had the chicken pad thai. I had the prawn Khee Mao. The noodles were sticky and a bit on the rubbery side. It was well flavored however. We dont normally order dessert but this mango sorbet was beyond delicious. Dine in Cost: approximately £200

5 /5 Denisa Tancou: What an amazing restaurant! Weve been wanting to try it out for a while now and I am so glad we finally did! The food was authentic, very delicious and super fresh! Weve tried the Thai Calamari, Sweetcorn Fritters, Duck and lychee curry with sticky rice and the Khao Soi and everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back!

1 /5 Ester Joy: I visited this Thai restaurant yesterday. The taste of the food was good, but both the pork and beef were very chewy and hard to eat. After the meal, I had an upset stomach that has lasted for two days. I’m surprised the rating is 4.9 because my experience was not that great. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
