Charlotte Bramanis What an amazing addition to Broad Street vendors. Figured Id give this a go instead of an overpriced pre-heated dessert from the restaurant I was at, and so glad I did. The waffle on a stick was A-MAZE-ING. Well worth the money! I spoke to the owner while our fresh waffles were being made; theyve only been there a couple of weeks and still getting organised, that being said, the small waffle selection at the moment is worth going to try! Crepes and other snacks coming soon!

Lily Arabella Every time I go it is amazing. Wonderful pizza and desserts! There is a quiz every Monday which I recommend! Nick and Emily are such kind, amazing members of staff. I recommend!

H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Joe Audcent Really enjoyed the Thai Green curry, which they were happy to swap aubergine for peppers which I was pleased about and shows the food is freshly cooked to order. Very friendly service and the banana fritters were delicious. Haven’t had these for years so such a nice treat! With the friendly service, the very clean and comfortable dining area and so many dishes to choose from this has to be one of my favourite Thai restaurants.

Leon Latham-Fisher Loved it. Authentic hong kong cafe style place like you get in asia. Also bought a few bits from the supermarket ajoined. Good size portion food. And of course dim sum! Really nice staff. Thanks!
