1 /5 Eugene Donkin: Don’t usually review places but went to knock in a few balls on the pool table while my girlfriend was doing some shopping across the road and got told I have to buy a drink to play pool even though you have to pay to play. So what happens if I don’t drink? What happens if I’m not thirsty? Stupid
1 /5 Honest Reviews: Went in for a drink and was served by a very stroppy rude young girl with dark hair who made us feel as if we shouldn’t be there. This has the potential to be a very nice pub if staff were nicer and didn’t make you feel like you shouldn’t be there. No wonder the pub only had five other customers in there, we will not be going back.
1 /5 Allan Branch: Called in to the Crouch Oak on Monday to have lunch. unfortunately they no longer do food. I had checked their website a few days earlier and it still shows a menu. Maybe an update to the website is needed.
1 /5 Lisa Austin: Absolutely horrible pub! All of the staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They ban people for coming in for absolutely no reason whatsoever. The staff have a tendency to bring their personal issues with customers to work and make it an overall terrible experience. When in this establishment the staff make people feel uncomfortable and unwanted which is unacceptable. If you work in an industry working with people then you should enjoy your job or at least pretend to. The staff should be the face of the pub but they just seem so uninterested in being there which makes it a horrible place to be. This pub has the potential to be amazing but the staff are so rude and unprofessional which makes it a terrible pub overall. Should be closed down!
OASIS LIMOS KENT 24 HOUR LIMO SERVICE Just had an amazing time today at the Fable, This is the second year now we have attended Brunch with Martin Kemp.
Highly recommend this place, great afternoon spent with hits of the 80’s , with Martin kemp on the decks
Our waitress Sylvia was totally amazing and done a fantastic job, so polite and really went out her way to make sure we were happy
5 star service
Youlim Jun Lovely and very knowledgeable staff. A very large menu to choose from with a lot of detail both for food and drinks. The interior has such a great vibe. You can tell a lot of attention and effort went into creating the atmosphere. All staff were super lovely and the manager came around to each table which was a lovely attentive touch. The food itself was great. It was my first time eating at dishoom and I was far from disappointed. Each dish was full of flavour. However, I found the naan to be a bit lacking. Ive had better naan from local curry shops. Definitely not bad but not the best naan Ive had, which is the reason for the 4 stars on food. The desserts were great, highly recommend the rice pudding! Will definitely come again.
Lou-Ann Lauwrens A proper local pub done right. Great atmosphere, friendly staff who remember you, and consistently great food and drinks. It’s the kind of place you can pop into casually or settle in for the evening and feel genuinely welcome. Always well run, good value, and a real asset to the area. Highly recommend supporting this pub.
Mike Bishop What a fantastic place. Beautiful food (get the French Toast!), lovely staff, and just a great vibe sitting directly next to the aerodrome watching all the old rich white dudes fly their microlights and helicopters.
We will absolutely be back again for the cake, which looked like huge slabs of deliciousness.
Apparently they deliver, and Im glad for my waistline that Im not local.
