5 /5 Andy Low: We had a lovely brunch at The Handle Bar Kitchen in Oxford and truly enjoyed the experience overall. The service was superb — our waiter was very helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which really added to the pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, making it a great spot for a relaxed brunch. The cozy setting and welcoming staff created a warm and inviting vibe that we really appreciated. The only small downside was that the smell of the food lingered a bit, leaving a slight odour on our clothes and hair after we left. It didn’t spoil the experience, but it’s worth noting. All in all, a wonderful place with great food and excellent service — we’d definitely come back again! ⸻

5 /5 Harry Cookson: We enjoyed our trip to this charming cafe in Oxford. The drinks were well-prepared and tasty, and the food comhined classic breakfast/brunch elements well, with some gentle but successful twists in flavour (we had the french toast with bacon and avocado, and the all-plant breakfast). The portion sizes were good; the prices were a little above average for a brunch for two, but delivered more than enough extra value. Finally, a little word for the service: from where I was sat, I had a good view of the open plan kitchen, and saw a waiter and a chef spending extra time before service ensuring someones plate was perfectly presented. This sort of attention to detail is brilliant to see.

5 /5 Alfie Chandler: Today me and my girlfriend visited the Handlebar Cafe. We’d seen a great deal of it on social media and decided to see if it’s worth the hype, I can say it certainly was! Firstly, we got our coffees. We are both oat milk drinkers, and the coffees were perfect even with the oat milk. A great taste and a great temperature straight of the batt, no signs of burning the coffee whatsoever which is such a relief! I decided myself to go for the full breakfast option, my girlfriend went for the Turkish eggs. To begin, the service from the staff was excellent, quick and easy. Very nice to be in this environment. The food all came out nice and hot with amazing flavours, it was such a breath of fresh air having a place do great vegetarian food, especially leaning more towards breakfast and lunch menus and not having it be the usual “beyond meat” branding, it was genuine hearty food. All the food was clearly sourced well. It makes you feel great eating proper stuff! As we’re in the city on holiday, we decided that we’d ask the staff members what we could do today in the city. They were very excited and happy to answer for us, which was lovely! Thanks again Handlebar Cafe. If we’re ever back in Oxford we’ll certainly be back here too!

5 /5 Rain Yan: I had the best shakshouka at this cozy, ambient brunch/lunch place! The dishes were all freshly made with quality ingredients which were served very shortly after ordering so we didn’t have to wait. It was also nice that they have vegan feta as an alternative for those who are lactose intolerant in dishes that contain cheese. Was a hearty meal and I had wishes there was more! Staff were also lovely and passionate about their work/art of their dishes, which was refreshing to see. Saw the focaccias as we were heading out which also looked and smelled absolutely mouth watering. Would definitely recommend and love to come back again
