The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 Marc: Friendly, welcoming and attentive service throughout. Had the £19.17 set menu with the sourdough bread as well. Very good value for money. Bread was nice, warm and a generous size. Had the French onion soup and duck liver parfait for starters. Both were very tasty. I usually don’t like parfait but tried some of my partner’s and would order for myself next time, goes very well with the brioche. For mains had the sea bream and shepherds pie with peas. Again very tasty and good portion sizes. Unfortunately did not have room for dessert but had a nice coffee with cream. My partner was not a big fan of the cookie dough hot chocolate when compared to other hot chocolates we have had, think because it was likely from a powder. Staff were very kind and got my partner a small dessert as it was her birthday. Would come back to try more of the menu.

4 /5 Louie Thomas: Great food and drinks. Bit slow taking our order and the cocktails took an age but everything else was as youd expect from The Ivy - good food and friendly welcoming staff. The 2 course £19.17 menu is fabulous value.

5 /5 Steve Hardwick: My wife and I were both celebrating our birthdays. Weve been here many times before but, today, thanks to Henry Kalifa in particular (and his great sense of humour!), the service - as well as the food - was truly exceptional. There is a lovely ambience at The Ivy Tunbridge Wells - its a special place - but most of the atmosphere and feel good factor comes from the team who work there. They are highly professional and clearly take great pride in everything that they do. It works! Well be back very soon.

5 /5 Caroline Strachan: A gorgeous afternoon tea made all the better by our wonderful host Maya. We were celebrating a 13th birthday and Maya engaged with the 2 girls straight away, even teaching them how to fold a napkin into a rose. Maya was attentive and engaging, perfect service. The afternoon tea was lovely too, really well done. Bravo The Ivy TW.

The service was inadequate for this restaurant, dishes were given to the hands of customers, what is definitely wrong. There was no prioritisation to women’s,little etiquette The food, the duck salad, was very good. The bread was a real exaggeration, a whole loaf, which doesnt make sense, its wasteful these days. The roast was not exciting, quite overcooked
