1 /5 Michael Stockton: We went for lunch 12/11/24. The food was absolutely terrible. Not only did I pay £10.50 for 3 spicey squid rings. That’s £3.50 per squid ring. Crazy prices. They were cold and where was the spicy part? No spice at all, they were served with mayo. I also ordered the home made beef burger which was way over cooked and hard. I could taste the burnt meat. My partner ordered the Cesar salad, there was no Parma ham as the description said and the chicken was tough, dry and overcooked. The barman told us they had run out of chicken but he went out of his way to check with the kitchen to see if they could do chicken for the Cesar salad. I must say the positives of this experience were the barman was very kind and hospitable but I could tell he was embarrassed when I asked him if he thinks 3 squid rings for £10.50 is worth it. The place is very nice. Credit the bar man for offering us a free drink we really appreciated it but the negatives out way the positives and I can’t give more than 1 star for this experience. The kitchen let the front of house down this time. The chef needs talking to. I would not recommend to go here for a meal to my friends and family. Over priced, poor quality food.

1 /5 Grace Hopkins: Quite possibly the worst sandwiches we have ever had! No care taken what so ever to make them. Ridiculous amount of butter and slabs of cheap ham. Ham salad was just salad cream! Awful
