5 /5 Barbara Mercer: Popped in to watch the football on a Sunday afternoon {a first time visit.) . The staff were very welcoming and reserved a table for us near the television, lunch was superb and very delicious..will definitely return.

5 /5 Renan Luiz: Delicious food, big portions and great value! Had the bigger version of the fish & chips, and it could easily be shared between two people. The vegan burger was top notch, full of flavour and not dry at all! Staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The only downside was that the kids pasta was a bit dry, without much sauce on it. Cant really complain to be honest, got the offer that it costs £1 when you get another adult meal. Very good deal. Another let down was the back beer garden, it is not looked after at all, but it got so much potential to be really nice. I hope that the current manager sort it out, as it would be really nice to sit on the outside with kids, away from the main road. --- 18/07/24 Great revamp, the pub looks really nice now. Food is still good, however, it took half an hour to arrive, even though people in the pub were just drinking at the time.

1 /5 tony smith: Decided to have food here. I ordered a steak and asked for medium rare and was told you get it as it comes. My partner had halloumi flat bread. After a wait of over 20 minutes both meals turned up mostly burnt or chargrilled as they like to put it. Will not be eating here again and will definitely not recommend to any one else.

1 /5 DEPHIN Tile&Wood Ltd Interior Experts: Regular attendee here from an ethnic background, a lot of bad experiences with one of the servers has been repeating and festering overtime. Not talking about a one time encounter, I want to exacerbate this has happened on multiple countless occasions- where one specific server has been completely ignorant, rude and unprofessional with the service shes provided towards my father- for no apparent reason. Hes been coming home and complaining that hes been ignored by this server, who seems to be doing it deliberately, and has been getting away with it of a concerning period of time. Obviously my dad has been struggling to express himself and raise attention to the matter, so Im going to write this because this is unacceptable behaviour, especially considering the fact that he has been supporting this little establishment. Its really upsetting because he loves this place, everyone else is respectful and kind but that one lady. Today was the last straw and Ive decided to write a review, and as far as context goes- shell do anything but serve my dad, she wont greet him as she does other patrons or even be remotely nice,and when she sets down his drink, her mannerisms are full of distaste and impoliteness- shell turn away and roll her eyes. This pattern has been deeply upsetting and humiliating at times for my father, its obviously made him feel very unwelcome, especially to a place he considers his local and its all because of the actions of one employee. Please fix this and train your employees to be kind, it takes nothing.

5 /5 Rob Flower: Went ar Lunch time on a Tuesday. A big menu to look at and after ordering 4 different meals we waited about 20 minutes for them to be served. Freshly cooked, generous portions, piping hot and to top that, also delicious. Fantastiic value and even used my free drink voucher.
