5 /5 Lin McAllister: First time for a Sunday roast and it was perfect. Had roast beef, perfect pink with delicious vegetables followed by pannacotte. Service was second to none, attentive and polite. Highly recommend, will be returning. Thank you middle house

2 /5 Lee Powney: Sunday roast. Over £20 pp for this plate. Basically two slices of beef , and what you see on the plate . You can see the vegetables to share on the table. In short the worst value Sunday roast Ive had in the area. This attempt at a Sunday Roast reminded me of school dinners, gloopy cold gravy included. Absolute shocker. Things were made worse by the manager. I asked if we could move table and was told no. I then went to the bar area and asked if they had tables. The manager came into the bar and told me we have already had this conversation there are no tables. Dont understand the attitude, dont understand why anyone would put someone with a total lack of customer service skills front of house. Do not understand why people rate this place so highly.

2 /5 Daniel Ravensmoor: DEFINITELY NOT FOR CHRISTMAS People are proud that their restaurant lights up at night, because there is nothing else to be proud of. The food is ordinary. A lot of restaurants around are the same. Just a restaurant, just food.

5 /5 Sagar Shah: Beautiful country pub with attentive staff. The vintage exterior opens into a cosy and spacious pub with a lovely garden. Staff were quick to greet us and explain the menu and options. We went on a Monday when they do carvery which was delicious and very well priced. Would love to go again in better weather so we use the pub garden and explore the rest of the menu.
