5 /5 Kim Colman: We were in Haselmere and literally put in google pub close by and The Mill popped up first. It was our first time at The Mill and wow it didnt disappoint. We hadnt booked but that was no problem at all. We were welcomed to a table in the most beautiful cosy part of the pub. Roaring fire. Service was incredible, food outstanding. Even asking to take our leftovers home was done in little boxes in a bag. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an incredible afternoon.

5 /5 Benny 531135: Had lunch here and was served by a polite and attentive gentleman. Food was great, had ham egg and chips which was perfect . atmosphere cosy and relaxed. Would visit again.

5 /5 David Hogg: A fantastic find! We’re not the Sunday Roast types which makes it much harder to find a pub / restaurant that serve interesting non-roast options on a Sunday. We found The Mill and were very pleased with the pappardelle pasta dish and fish of the day dish that we ordered. The spiced rice pudding was also very nice and something different to the ordinary pub puddings. We arrived at 2pm, despite only having a table booked for 3pm but they still fitted us in, and delivered our mains within 20 mins — amazing considering how busy the pub was. Well done to the team at the The Mill! We’ll be back when we’re next in the area! ⭐

From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make the day feel special. We gave very little direction on decor, yet they thoughtfully set the tables and added touches that complemented our small theme beautifully. They even went the extra mile by providing additional decorations of their own, which made the space feel warm and personal without us ever needing to ask. We were able to drop everything off the evening before, including our cake and simple decor, which made the wedding morning completely stress-free. On the day itself, the staff were attentive and considerate, ensuring every detail ran smoothly and every request was met. The food was another highlight—delicious, generously portioned, and presented with real care. Every guest was impressed, not only by the flavours but also by how thoughtful the presentation was. Everyone left feeling well-fed and delighted. It was truly a five-star experience from start to finish, and we are so thankful to Dirk and the entire team for making our wedding celebration feel seamless, personal, and memorable.
