5 /5 Mark Aldred: Had a lovely meal for my wifes birthday at the The Porch House. Staff were lovely and the roast dinner was good. I think thats dinners are really hard for restaurants to get right as you often dont have the same control over timings as you would do if you were cooking at home. Im happy to say that that the meal was excellent and I polished it off without any complaint. Lovely also for a quick drink which we also did on a different day. Visiting in February meant that they had the multiple fireplaces lit which made the ambiance warm, cost and welcoming.

5 /5 Julie Smith: We had a lovely visit to The Porch House in Stow-on-the-Wold. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a really comfortable place to relax and enjoy our meal. Richard looked after us brilliantly – friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of humour that made the experience even more enjoyable. We both chose the fish and chips, and it didn’t disappoint. The batter was light and crisp, the fish was perfectly cooked, and it was all full of flavour. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

He really helped to kick off our Valentine’s Day with a good energy! Thank you so much to him and the team for the amazing service and food. We had arancini to start and the Caesar salad and linguine as mains - 12/10 and cocktails and pints were great too

5 /5 M: amazing place, staying local farm park, and decided to pop in for food only. the staff were excellant and found us a table even though it was busy, the service was brilliant and plenty of choice for coeliac. even the kids found and tried some new things. atmospheric was amazing, real pub restaurant feel, old and historic, but clean and inviting. toilets were also very clean.food was probably the best food Ive ever had. highlights recommended to eat here if you can. would definately return here

5 /5 fran fischman: Listen. We are pub snobs. We went on the hunt for the best pub in the cotswolds. This was it. Upon entering we had our own snug room with a private fire, bar, and exquisite pints (Guinness) afterwards we were led to our table by Chris (absolute legend) thankyou. We had the truffle arancini (as good as it ever gets), the wagyu burger + truffle mushroom and it was incredible. The dessert was even better (toffee pudding). After our audacious pub-ranking quest this was the best we could have asked for. THANK TOU MANDY AND THANK YOU CHRIS for the incredible service and food suggestions. We’ll be back. (Peruvian approved)
