There was issues with my food, which Joni straight away showed alot of empathy and understanding to everything I was going through. I was offered refund for my food and given a bottle of wine for the distress I went through. Normally things like this I would take it higher to head office but Joni managed to sort it out in-house and take charge of thr matter. Thank you Joni for an amazing customer service and checking up on my welfare. Bless! X

5 /5 Mariya Mavli Wala: Visited this pub recently and honestly had such a lovely experience. The ambience was warm and welcoming with perfect lighting, good music, and a really cozy vibe that made it easy to relax. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Loved the free hot chocolate refills. They also have plenty of drink options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. As for the food, I tried the Shawarma Chicken Topped Chips, 8” Spicy Chicken Pizza, and Southern Fried Chicken Strips as part of their Any Three for £10 deal, which was an absolute steal for the quality and portion sizes. The shawarma chips were amazing, perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavour. The pizza was smaller than I expected but the flavours were spot on, spicy, cheesy, and cooked just right. The southern fried chicken strips are a must try!! The coating was crispy, well seasoned, and hands down my new favourite thing on the menu. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a chill atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a spot that’s affordable yet doesn’t compromise on taste or quality.

5 /5 Tania Lumley: This pub has been a regular of mine since the eighties when it was called the Tanners. I dragged my crumbling body down there recently for dinner with my daughter. After only about two minutes i decided i couldnt stay and wait etc because of pain but like a magic fairy a staff member caught up with us when we were leaving to check everything was okay and immediately we were assured that waiting time was short and soon we were sipping gorgeous prosecco and eating fab food. It really was a pure delight and we were both impressed and touched by the thoughtful personal touch, impressed that the staff member even noticed that we were leaving because the place was packed. This pub has really stood the test of time. Everythings practically the same with the same fantastic vibe. Thanks guys.

1 /5 Sebastian Goutt: Cheap drinks are not enough to get me back in here. Most staff are rude and lazy or maybe just overworked and understaffed. The tables are always filthy. The service is blunt. And warm glasses every time Ive had a large whisky! Every bloody time!! Sort it out. Was better when it Was Tanners back in the 90s.

4 /5 paul brown: I had a traditional breakfast with extra mushrooms and hot drinks. I enjoyed an American pale ale (see photos) for a bargain of £7.10. Service was too laid back whilst ordering breakfast. The bar service improved when a dual heritage female of staff started serving (I didnt get a name). Historical building with an interesting connection to classic pop bands. Some interesting original features, too.
