5 /5 Hannah Fast: Love having meals here, food is amazing and delicious and one staff member, Kate is lovely to talk to. Lovely atmosphere and is a beautiful pub/restaurant setting. Highly recommend.

5 /5 michelle robinson: We had a wake there yesterday. I was a bit apprehensive regarding the food choices but everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful working out how many to cater for. We had a private section for all guests. The food came out exactly on time and hot. Everyone enjoyed all of the food. I had regular contact with the pub on the lead up which was reassuring for a stressful day. Many thanks to everyone that was working yesterday.

4 /5 Crissy CH: Reception was a bit hustled but im guessing because it was busy. The food was questionable. We ordered burgers and the bread was burnt and tough like it was rushed or forgotten and the chips were crispy and hard like they were refried. (NO COMPLAINTS MADE) It was paid for so it was eaten (what we could). It was as if we were a burden as the team appeared to be 3 ladies. Otherwise atmosphere was nice and warm. We will be trying it again sometime to see if it was a 1 off offense.

5 /5 Salwa Elmamoun: My husband, mother-in-law and I had a truly wonderful experience at The Woodman. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The food was absolutely delicious…beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and served promptly. Every dish we ordered was of a very high standard, and it was clear that great care goes into both the ingredients and presentation. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. A special mention must go to James and Annabelle, who were outstanding. They were incredibly helpful, courteous, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Their excellent service truly elevated the experience and made us feel very well looked after. We would highly recommend The Woodman to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-class service. We will definitely be returning!

5 /5 Davinia: We have come here recently a couple of times, this place has improved massively. Before we came here occasionally for a meal or a drink and the food wasnt great. Since the refurbishment, the menu and the decor is so much better. There are more than one real fires here, really large pub but has alot of character. Great we have this now as an option for a weekend meal after a long dog walk. Prices are reasonable with no hidden service charges that other pubs do now. The service is very good. We are always made to feel very welcome with our dog. The clientele here is good too, most people we have come across are very friendly and polite.
