Venerdi - (Near Hackney, South East)

4 /5 Azuki: We visited Venerdi for my mum’s birthday with a large group, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, especially as my mum changed her order a couple of times. The service was excellent, and they provided plenty of space for our group, including room for a pram and high chairs for kids. The food was good, though mixed. The stone-baked pizzas were fantastic, and the rosemary focaccia was delicious. However, the seafood spaghetti was too salty, and my mum and sister said they were very thirsty afterwards. My ravioli, while filling, was a bit overpowering on the truffles. I ordered the strawberry lemonade, and it was different - it could use better balance as it was very sweet. The atmosphere was lively but not crowded, with festive decorations adding a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend Venerdi for their pizza and friendly service!

5 /5 A S: Just went here last minute after our midwife appointment at Homerton hospital. We went for the top reviews and how close walk it was from the hospital. It was during the lunchtime and was empty. We really enjoyed the food and the service. We would love to come back and see during the evening for the atmosphere and try their cocktails.

2 /5 Alessandra Battinelli: Pasta was overcooked, 3 meatballs for £14 Spaghetti mare were drenched in tomato sauce and most of the shells were empty. Good Aperol spritz and decent service. Disappointed with the food, not authentic at all and seeing the food warmed up in the microwave was a huge disappointment.

5 /5 Lisa Brennand: The staff were so accommodating and very helpful. The food was so delicious and big portions all four of us had such full bellies that we couldnt have desserts. The cocktails are yummy made perfectly. We are already arranging to go back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening
