Ivan De Mello Revamped under new ownership, lacks the variey of real ales on draught but vast improvement in food. The chicken wings are amazing! Great selection of music on the jukebox as well. Most recently, I had the chicken pizza, which tasted like home cooking at its best.

N O Empire Lounge is a stylish and cosmopolitan venue that combines a unique restaurant experience with an opulent lounge atmosphere. It genuinely caters to a wide range of guests — whether you’re visiting for a meal, drinks, or simply to unwind. The food was excellent, well-presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere is vibrant but still comfortable, making it a great spot to relax while enjoying good music and a lively setting. Located in the heart of Catford, the building really stands out — especially with its beautiful gold-emblazoned banner, which gives it a distinctive and luxurious feel from the outside. Overall, Empire Lounge is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for great food, good vibes, and a stylish place to chill or celebrate. I’ll definitely be returning.

Jarin Sanramoni Tried their food for many times. And again and I am falling love with their caramel pudding . The sitting area is quite cozy. Mostly Bengali people come here to eat Bengali food. Their Karak tea and Halim is also my favourite. I highly recommend them.

Habeeba fatima We recently had a dine-in at Ashes Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the service truly stood out. The staff member who assisted us was extremely patient and friendly. The overall customer service was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended for families looking for great food and warm hospitality.

Pepper Salt I thoroughly enjoyed. The Nollywood music videos are complimented excellently by the decor. The bar is really something else. The service was very attentive and the people who work here are very friendly. Over all my only gripe is it may be a bit pricey- maybe that’s just London. The jollof I had was excellent, cleaned my plate, but maybe some fresh onion and tomatoes on the side would greatly compliment it (and justify 18 pounds more so)
