5 /5 Patrycja Sochran: What an amazing place! Its super small and not visible from the street but its a gem. Food was like homemade, great portions and super delicious. Gentleman who served us and cooked was very friendly and made good suggestions. Prices are very reasonable!

1 /5 Marian Imbrea: I’ve just moved to the area and was very excited to discover a place where I could enjoy home-style food! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I had the meatball soup, and it tasted really old. The meat tasted as it was off, and the vegetables were just some big chunks thrown in there. Although the lady who served me was very friendly, I do not recommend this place.

We find this gem from our place was 45 mins away but the travel well worth it. Food was amazing tasted very fresh and massive portions. The lady warm and welcoming person, very friendly. We had a good and nice atmosphere there, felt like we are at home from far away from our home town. Thank you so much for everything, if were coming back to London again we will be call in anyway. Highly recommend this place!!

5 /5 Charlotte Xiaou Wu: Might have found my new favourite local spot… came for the name and was pleasantly surprised by the charming and characterful decor, Hungarian pop (?) music & the DELICIOUS and generously portioned food. I had the goulash soup and the cabbage rolls but need to come back to try everything else including the desserts. It also came with fresh, warm bread which I ate way too much of so the owner kindly gave me a takeaway box for my main. 10/10 can’t wait to come again

isabel barbosa Pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was. Its been a long time since I had a homemade meal that tasted so delicious. It beat many gastro pubs in Barnet area that I had been. I had mixed kebab with rice. The rice was fluffy and very tasty. The meat was seasoned with spices that add an special flavour to it and made it very soft and succulent. I would highly recommend this small local cafe and definitely will come back again and again.

Sophie Krug Lovely restaurant with a diverse menu. Everything we ordered was delicious (tofu, bao buns, salt and pepper squid, lemongrass pork chop and dan dan noodles). Staff were friendly. Make sure to book ahead as it’s a small restaurant

From the assistance and communication prior, to the bar service, the dining experience on the day with regards to both the standard of food and service therein, I have to commend The Mount Edgcumbe.

K Arshad Went there to try something different. Very welcoming, even the customers, they recognise youre not from Somalia region. Very community oriented, felt comfortable and enjoyed the home cooked meal. Definitely off the beaten track and a great gem.
