Julian Tipler Had the pleasure of celebrating a big birthday here. It was an incredible meal. Brisket and jalapeño croquettes and charred corn with siracha mayo was amazing to start. But the best to come was the bavette. Such an under rated cut but cooked perfectly its delicious. And oh my …….cooked to perfection in front of us over charcoal. One of the best steaks I have eaten and that’s a lot. The pictures of the food speak for itself but I would definitely recommend the place and will definitely visit again when back in Brighton. Thanks for making it a memorable night !!

John Burdis We were looking for a place to grab a bite and saw this was top rated on Google, so popped inside. Luckily for us they could just squeeze us in and I have to say, we are both grateful for that, as this was an amazing find! First off, the staff were a delight and seeing as the joint owner is Mexican and hes one of the chefs as well. You can tell that his heart is in the place. In total, there were two Mexicans in the kitchen and by God it shows. When people talk about a taste explosion in your mouth, this is it! For a start, the colours are so vivid, its like a piece of art on your plate and once you take one mouthful, BOOM! That explosion happens. We had Chicken taquitos, Prawn, Birria, Pulled Pork, Chicken Guajillo and Steak Tacos. Plus a couple of specials and WOW! The only regret is that we dont live closer but we will return and with friends and next time we will book, as I would not be happy if I missed out on the food.

Sul Ibrahim Amazing service and amazing food. Restaurant access is at street level, and you walk upstairs. Dining area is very modern, nice decor. Service was faultless. I had the hummus for starters and the tender Lamb Chenjeh for mains. I also tried the chilli lemon and saffron thighs. Both were absolutely delicious. Had some Persian tea and baklava for dessert. One of the the best meals Ive had in a very long time. Definitely coming back.

K Toscano Such a hidden gem. The food here was unbelievable and I felt safe eating here as a coeliac as the staff were very knowledgeable and aware of cross contamination. My personal favourite was the chicken which had the most delicious crispy skin. The atmosphere was lovely and staff were amazing, great with recommending the best options. Definitely worth a visit

Marc Friendly, welcoming and attentive service throughout. Had the £19.17 set menu with the sourdough bread as well. Very good value for money. Bread was nice, warm and a generous size. Had the French onion soup and duck liver parfait for starters. Both were very tasty. I usually don’t like parfait but tried some of my partner’s and would order for myself next time, goes very well with the brioche. For mains had the sea bream and shepherds pie with peas. Again very tasty and good portion sizes. Unfortunately did not have room for dessert but had a nice coffee with cream. My partner was not a big fan of the cookie dough hot chocolate when compared to other hot chocolates we have had, think because it was likely from a powder. Staff were very kind and got my partner a small dessert as it was her birthday. Would come back to try more of the menu.

Ross Heath This place is very much along the lines of the Kervan franchise, posh kebabs done to a very high standard. We went as a group of 10 from work for a leaving do and had no problems getting seated on a Wednesday night in January. The starters were very good and seemed better than the usual frozen then deep fried efforts you sometimes come accross. Chilli sauce was homemade and excellent as was the cacik and the warmed flatbreads were great. They werent stingy with any of the starters. The mains were a little pricey, but once again they were of such a high quality nobody was con earned with a couple of extra pounds. I had the Sarma Lamb Beyti and it was pretty special. Only slight letdown was that I had a margarita cocktail as a digestif and it very likely came from a can and was served in a martini glass. Other than that this was a very good option for a Turkish meal. Given the proliferation of Turkish restaurants in the area that is no small praise.
