David Silcock Loved our stay at the hotel. The room is so beautifully furnished, cosy and very indulgent for our getaway weekend. Breakfast each morning had a wide variety of really tasty options, and dinner on our final night was delicious. The staff in the pub were super friendly and helpful. We felt looked after the whole weekend. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little country getaway.

The atmosphere is calm yet functional, and the décor is warm and welcoming. The staff are genuinely kind and cheerful, even very early in the morning. They open at 6:30 am, which makes it a convenient morning pit stop for anyone commuting into central London via Thameslink. There’s a wide selection of English breakfast options, sweet and savoury, and you can even build your own plate by choosing exactly what you want. It’s the first time I’ve seen this level of flexibility, and it gives the place a very homely feel. The food quality is great, and a special highlight is the coffee. They serve Kimbo coffee from Naples, one of Italy’s most respected brands, which easily ranks among the best coffees you can find. Atiq Rehman Must try place! I never knew about this place. As you walk past, you dont get to see much but this place was recommended to me and the food was so good! The two meat option portion is more than generous. Tasty black bean sauce adds that something extra! They have indoor seating as well and Ill definitely be coming back. Thanks for the friendly service as well.

Suzanne Nisha We had a delicious meal yesterday evening. The team are warm and friendly. The food is well presented and flavoursome. We were slightly disappointed by the aubergine and pepper ratatouille as was dry and a small portion. The lamb curry and rice were amazing. We would definitely go again and recommend to friends and family.
