Tricia F The food was fantastic. Properly seasoned and presented. Large portions. The mac & cheese was great. The plaintain and cheese balls were so divine! If dining for 2 I would recommend you buy 1 large plate then buy small plates to try other things on the menu. The cocktails are well made and strong. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is relaxing, the music was not too loud. There is a outside garden at the back and front of the restaurant. Plenty of room, but was filing up quiet fast on the Friday evening about 8pm. The cost is quiet affordable ÂŁ30-40 per person. This is a good place if you like real soul food, caribbean food that is cooked properly.

Thames Rubbish Haven’t been to Arments since I was a little boy as we moved far away from London. Went back yesterday for the first time in 30 years and it was amazing definitely in the top 3 of pie and mash shops in London! The staff was so attentive and so many of them working well together. Will definitely be going back in the new year highly recommend this pie and mash shop it’s a must try! P.s Don’t forget to flip your pies and fill them with chilli vinegar thank me later…..

MrScott319 Great food and a wonderfully French restaurant. Menu for mains are a sharing menu and don’t take that lightly!!! I think one starter between two then a main would still have leftovers. We enjoyed every course and the indigestion from eating too much was worth it.

Oleg Shkarovskyy This review is more about the kindness and incredible support the owner of the establishment did. Despite the initial confusion, the owner was extremely understanding, and attempted to make up for the situation. This already left a better impression of the guy, but what he did after moved me a a lot. My friend had an emergency, and despite the shop being busy, he took the time to call us an ambulance , and continued to support us an any way he could. Even offered to drive us to the nearest hospital himself. This is far beyond anything a stranger could do to help another person in need, this man showed incredible integrity and astonishing kindness. Thank you so much for everything, people like you make this world a better place!! Best of luck and I will sure to pay them another visit when I am in the area

William W I had an excellent meal here. I enjoyed everything, from the food , the friendly waiter who single handily served the whole restaurant and the venue, which retained the Victorian interior. I thought the food was authentic. The bbq dishes were great, so are the dumplings, and the noodles freshly made. What’s more, there’s free refill for the noodles - you are guaranteed to leave this restaurant stuffed. I would happily return and spread the word. It’s excellent value.
