Doug W Being a visitor to Britain I was looking for a place to enjoy a breakfast more like those I can enjoy at home. Waffle Jacks met that wish. I enjoyed an omelet and even tried a 1/4 waffle. The proprietor was very welcoming and made my stay enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious. The coffee was good too, but unlike an American diner (or a Canadian one, some I’m a Canuck) they don’t offer drip coffee. The restaurant is very small, but they make extraordinary use of their limited space and people seem to roll with it. The service was top notch, the food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The only negative I can offer is the small size of the establishment, but really they manage that well. I don’t throw out 5 stars everywhere, but when I do they’ve earned it. I went out of my way to visit here , a long way out of my way, and it was worth the effort.

Antonio T Every dish at Ostuni was a delight from start to finish. We tried a variety of plates — the pasta ravioli was beautifully balanced and full of authentic flavour, and the seabream, served with delicate potato crisps, was simply outstanding: perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with Mediterranean character. The smaller dishes were just as memorable — the tender pork pieces were melt-in-your-mouth soft, the aubergine layer lasagna was rich, flavourful, and incredibly tasty, and the bread was fantastic. The tomato-topped bread was wonderfully fresh, and the one with stracciatella and Italian dried red pepper was vibrant and full of flavour. For dessert, we had a ricotta cake with a hazelnut base — light and refined, and paired perfectly with a shot of pistachello, a delicious pistachio liqueur. The chef’s talent truly shines in every dish, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian food done with care and creativity. Highly recommended!

Daniel Merlusca I have booked a table for 6 people. We had different starters and main dishes to share between us. The Romanian wine was really good as well. We finished our lunch with Romanian papanasi. Overall great services, food and drink. Thanks for the entire team. I would definitely come back with my friends and family. Avocado on toast with roast tomatoes for me today (vegan adapted on request) and eggs benedict for my mum. If you happen on Chesham High Street, Junction will not be your cheapest choice - as good things never are, but you will depart a satisfied customer.
