Dan Forget your average takeaway – Grill Cartel is playing in a whole different league. From the moment the tantalizing aroma hits you upon opening the container, you know youre in for a treat. I recently ordered a selection of their offerings, and I can honestly say it was one of the best takeaway experiences Ive had in a long time. The Food: A Flavour Explosion Their grilled chicken shawarma is succulent and tender, with a beautiful smoky char that speaks volumes about their grilling expertise. The wraps are generously filled and bursting with fresh ingredients, making for a satisfying and flavourful meal. Beyond the Food: Excellent Service & Efficiency The quality of the food is matched by the excellent service. Ordering was a breeze, and the staff were friendly and efficient on the phone. My order was ready promptly, and the packaging was secure, ensuring the food arrived hot and in perfect condition. Nithiya Gunasekaran We visited Chatora as a family of four—two adults and two kids—and had a fantastic experience. From the warm welcome to the relaxed, stylish setting, everything made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, and the lamb kebab was the clear standout—tender, flavorful, and beautifully grilled. It came with delicious sides and was a hit with both adults. The kids also enjoyed their meals, which were thoughtfully prepared and perfect for younger diners. Service was friendly and attentive, with staff who were great with the kids and happy to offer recommendations. The atmosphere was ideal for a relaxed family evening—elegant but never stuffy. Special thanks to Sahil, Sabina, Leticia and the team for an outstanding hospitality. We left full and happy, already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for families and anyone who appreciates quality food and warm hospitality!

Bríg x My friend and I meet up regularly for a late lunch and Cocktails so we have been to quite a few places. The Kara, with its £15.95 set menu and a Cocktail bar for laters enticed us, and in all honesty it exceeded our expectations. From the moment of our arrival and throughout, the service from all was very professional, attentive, and friendly. We were even asked if we were happy with the table they had selected for us, which is a first for me. A big shout out to Ozzy who looked after us during the meal, very helpful and with a good sense of humour. The food was delicious and plenty, wine and Cocktails a reasonable price. I was very impressed when we were asked if we would like to take time to digest our starter before the main. They will even supply you with a food bag to take home, if you can’t manage it all. The decor is modern, buzzy and fun, with a crazy lighting and mirrored area to allow for taking photos on the way to the toilets. It was like being in a London restaurant, but without paying a fortune. We had allowed time for a couple of cocktails in the Cocktail bar area, and they were excellent, made to a high standard with attention to detail. As it was a Friday we enjoyed a little of the live singing by a lovely lady (believe it was Nikita KC) who interacted with us as she sang, and even said goodbye when we left. We will definitely be back.

Nara Lam Popped into Old Town 97 in Brentford for a meal and it was a solid experience. The drinks were a great start, the Iced Yuan Yang was very authentic, and the Iced Lemon Tea was refreshing with a lovely citrus fragrance. For the mains, we tried the famous LSE Fried Rice. It’s egg fried rice topped with a smooth egg gravy and black pepper chicken chop; it had great "wok hei" and was very satisfying. We also had the Three Meat Roast Combo (roast duck, char siu, and roast pork), which was decent and met expectations, would say the roast pork was slightly fatty. The Salt and Pepper Squid was a real highlight, perfectly seasoned and very tasty. Squid just perfect, not too chewy. We finished with some dim sum: the Chive Dumplings and Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce, both were well made and consistent. Reliable spot for comforting Cantonese food. Will be back!
