Holborn Dining Room - (Near Camden, london)

Ameera Shafique Pitted Olive has been our go-to spot for years now. We first happened to come across it a few years ago and ever since, it’s become our ritual stop before catching a flight — it’s so conveniently close to King’s Cross and the perfect way to start a holiday. This review is definitely overdue, especially considering how often we come here, but honestly every single visit has been superb. I almost always order the beef moussaka lunch, which comes with bulgur rice and mezze — so, so good. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and because it’s already prepared and kept warm, it comes out super quickly (ideal when you’re on a bit of a time crunch). My only tiny moan (and it really is tiny) is that the refillable water glasses are on the smaller side — we drink a lot of water with our food, so we found ourselves taking turns getting refills. But honestly, that’s hardly a dealbreaker. Consistently great food, quick service, and a reliable favourite. We’ll keep coming back!!

SW Cool Had a quick bite while waiting for a friend. The burger was great and the service was fast. It’s the kind of place you could easily linger in for longer — central, comfortable, and perfect for taking a break after a long walk. You don’t get that kind of breathing room in many of the smaller, busier spots nearby.

Cassandra King Always the most delicious food! Generously filled sandwiches with loads of flavour and high quality ingredients, served with a smile. The service is always lovely and the brownies are next level.

Colin Boerger Walked in here on a Saturday morning because the place we intended to go to had a very long wait. Ended up being a great decision. It was a very well done breakfast/brunch. We enjoyed everything we got and the drinks were also very good. I’d highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!
