Saravanaa Bhavan in Rayners Lane is always busy, which says a lot about the quality and consistency of their food. The dosas are crisp and perfectly cooked, the sambar and chutneys are full of flavour, and the idlis are soft and fresh. Portion sizes are generous and everything tastes clean and freshly prepared. Service is usually quick despite the crowds, and the staff are polite and efficient. The restaurant itself is simple and no-frills, but that’s part of its charm because the focus is clearly on good food. A great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a casual dinner if you enjoy proper South Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.
