5 /5 Miles Wheeler: Simply the best restaurant in London, I love this place - it’s my go to for birthdays or people visiting. Such a wonderful, relaxed place to go with exceptional food and amazing wine. In the summer it’s great to sit outside on a warm evening and in the winter it’s a great retreat inside. The produce they use is obviously really high quality they work with the best suppliers and it shows. There’s always something meat based, seafood based and vegetarian. Sundays they normally do a dish to share too and the Herne Hill market is on which makes for the ideal Sunday afternoon. I’ve brought vegan friends too and it’s worth just letting them know in advance and I’d suggest booking too. It’s a testament to the place that the manager has been there for 8+ years and I still know the chefs years on too, the team are great, always so welcoming and calm. For me this is the ideal neighbourhood restaurant and I visit whenever I can. 10s across the board for Llewelyns!

5 /5 Alice Parker: We went on the Sunday lunch time, service and food was delicious! The two highlights were the mussel starter and the sticky ginger desert! Can’t wait to come back and try the next menu:)

5 /5 Farah: A truly lovely restaurant with an exceptional dining experience. The softly dimmed lighting and candlelit tables created a warm atmosphere, and the staff were wonderfully accommodating in providing small plates so we could share every dish. The food was quite simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Complemented by a carefully curated wine list offering a fine selection available by Coravin. From the December menu, we enjoyed: The house pickles Oysters with Jalapeño Mignonette Smoked Haddock Croquette with Tartare Sauce Smoked Eel with Apple, Fennel, Croutons & Watercress Beef Carpaccio with Green Peppercorn, Mushroom & Chestnut Winter Root & Comté Pithivier Chicken Ballotine with Cep & Sauce Albufera Dauphinoise Pistachio, Candied Citrus & Honeycomb Ice Cream Bombe It was certainly a generous feast, but every bite was absolutely worth it! We very much look forward to returning.

5 /5 John Teo: Delicious and most enjoyable lunch! Nestled just outside Herne Hill station, Llewelyn’s is a neighbourhood gem that marries seasonal, modern-European cooking with unpretentious charm. Pity it is so remote, or we’d definitely be back. Walked here after visiting the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
