Davide Bonetti We had a lovely Sunday roast at Old Compton Brasserie The food was comforting and well executed, perfectly cooked meat, crispy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and all the classic accompaniments done properly. What truly made the experience special was Tamara’s service. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, with a genuine care that made us feel immediately welcome. Her professionalism created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back.

S L The soft shell crab was great. So was the dumplings and chicken pieces. The poke bowl portion was generous, but lacked in the amount of sauce provided for the rice. One of the sushi came without wasabi, which was either a mistake or quite unfair as it was the less expensive one. Overall nice but bit on the expensive side for a take away

Rebecca Maxwell Fantastic venue for a cosy birthday meal for two. The food was amazing, staff were very friendly. We never felt rushed. Unfortunately they forgot one of our dishes and our wine order but sorted it without any drama when we told them. Highly recommended. Worth booking as its small and obviously popular. Destini Rookwood Had the most amazing experience. I work at the airport so it was very convenient. The staff was absolutely so helpful and knowledgeable, willing to customize the food For me. Very reasonably priced and even the punters are a laugh. Just an all round lovely experience. Really brightens up my day before work.

Dan Redfern Wonderful atmosphere and a busy Tuesday night with the locals playing a home darts match, The wonderful landlady made the most delicious Jamaican chicken dish. I had two portions! Having eaten a lot of Jamaican food in the past, though I’m totally English, I rated last night’s meal as the best Jamaican meal I have ever eaten. Spicy, so very tasty with fruity flavours. I will be back, and thank you so very much.
