3 /5 Noorur Choudhury: Im sorry but Im going to have to give you a his a mediocre 3 out of 5.
Me and my friend came here, wanting to try the Mixed Grill, thinking it would be the same Mixed Grill as other places, that come with lamb chops, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and seekh kebabs, but this was just two seekh kebabs (each cut into half) and lots of chicken smothered in the sauce (which was very nice BTW, maybe too much sauce). Ive had mixed grill one too many times from different eateries all across the UK, ie Tayyabs, Needo Grill and so on, and have a general idea of whats supposed to be in a portion. In this case, theres so much chicken, hardly any lamb, therefore not really mixed, hence shouldnt be called Mixed Grill, an appropriate name would be Grilled Chicken with Seekh kebabs, as you can see from the pictures, its mostly chicken. It cost us £19.99 which is quiet steep considering it wasnt much, and was mostly chicken, would have been cheaper if we just went Nandos instead to have all that chicken and bought seekh kebabs as take away elsewhere.
I get lamb costs more than chicken hence I dont see the justification of this being priced the amount it is. As much as I would love to support a new up and coming business, as Ive travelled a long way to come here, I cant help but feel a tad bit disappointed.
