5 /5 Boyce Helena “Noodles”: Id eat here everyday if my waistline allowed it. Lovely food especially the chilly cheeseburger, which i get EVERYTIME. Nice place, most staff are really cool and we always visit with our adult kids for a treat. Music coukd be a little lower tbh, but im probably just being an old fart.

1 /5 Oksana Miskuniene: I normally never leave reviews, whether good or bad, but after my recent visit to Red Dog Saloon in Southampton I felt I had to share my experience. Unfortunately, the service was very slow from the start. When the food finally arrived, most of it was cold. The fries tasted like they had been cooked a long time before and were simply served when needed, as they were completely cold. The pork belly was only slightly warm and very dry, making it quite unpleasant to eat. However, the most concerning dish was the chicken wings. They appeared completely raw. The waitress tried to explain that although they looked raw they were actually cooked, but the chicken was pink with visible blood around the bones. To their credit, the restaurant did not charge us for the wings and replaced them with chicken bites at no extra cost. Unfortunately, the replacement wasn’t much better, as the chicken bites were extremely oily and greasy. In the end, we left most of our plates half full because the food simply wasn’t enjoyable. Considering the prices, the quality of the food was very disappointing and felt very overpriced. Overall, it was a waste of money, which is a real shame.

2 /5 Lee Kinsman: Our visit was a bit of a disappointment. We arrived fairly early, midweek, after a show at the Mayflower. Staff were really pleasant and service was good, unfortunately the food wasnt. Brisket basket was "ok", although the actual brisket was barely warm and was about 1/3 fat (hidden underneath). Brisket sandwich was skinny pieces, that we were later told were the trimmings from the "premium" slices used for things like the basket, and again...cold. I had wings and opted for hot. I got, what seemed like "out of the freezer" breaded wings that were deep fried and dusted with dry chilli and no sauce. The ranch and honey dips were fine, but even the obviously frozen fries were over cooked and dried out, but at least the wings were hot. It wasnt a cheap experience and Ive had much better BBQ for a lot less money. Not somewhere I will go back to.
