5 /5 j: A slightly surprising thing about Lewes is that there arent that many places where you can get a light lunch - so its always good to find one. We stopped off here for lunch on Saturday - soup of the day was cream of mushroom (with a choice of white, wholemeal or sourdough bread); Mrs J had poached eggs on toast. Decent coffee, very good all round, total just over £20.
Its nice to know that this is a good lunchtime option for something snacky/brunchy. They do paninis, sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes, all day breakfasts, that sort of thing - though there are also a few more substantial items available.
Regarding reservations - not sure you can. Im sure at times you would have to wait for a table - thats why you want options. We were there around noon on a Saturday and had no problem finding a table.
